Clafoutis Base
  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until smooth. Set aside to rest at least 30 minutes.
Cherry Mixture
  1. Melt butter in oven-proof 9-inch (23 cm.) skillet. Add cherries and saute until soft, about two minutes.
  2. Sprinkle cherries with sugar and cook until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Pour the batter over the cherries and bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffy.
  4. Cool slightly and enjoy
