Even on the hottest day of summer, I preferred a bold glass of red to anything cool and white. That all changed this summer when I started playing around in the art of pairing…
Creamy, refreshing lavender gelato with bursts of fresh blueberries. Helado refrescante y cremoso de lavanda y arandanos frescos.
Cherry clafoutis is one of my favorite summertime breakfasts. This traditional French pastry can be made with summer stone fruits; think apricot, plums, peaches, and of course, cherries. If you’ve never had one, you’ll find that its texture lies somewhere between a crepe and a Dutch baby. It’s sweet, but not too much so, making it the perfect companion to a foamy latte and a warm summer morning.
